DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS OF THE LIBRARY SERVICE UNIT (UPT) OF UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA
- In accordance with the Rector’s Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 12 of 2023 concerning the Organization and Governance of Units Under the Rector’s Authority, Article 22 paragraph (1), the Library Service Unit (UPT) is tasked with providing library services.
- In accordance with the Rector’s Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 12 of 2023 concerning the Organization and Governance of Units Under the Rector’s Authority, Article 22 paragraph (2), in carrying out its duties, the Library Service Unit (UPT) performs the following functions:
a. Provision of resources for learning, information, recreation, research, and publication;
b. Preparation of plans for needs and provision of library materials in various media formats;
c. Management of library materials to support academic needs;
d. Management of the Universitas Brawijaya Repository;
e. Management of the library information system;
f. Facilitation of inter-library cooperation;
g. Implementation of excellent services in utilizing library materials;
h. Development of knowledge transfer programs utilizing library materials;
i. Provision of library facilities oriented towards library users; and
j. Administration of library operational affairs
